HSF conducts training with Namibian Police Force

30 participants of the Namibian Police Force, more specifically of its Human Resources Directorate, coming from different regions all over Namibia gathered in the House of Democracy in Windhoek to receive a three days training conducted by the HSF. The aim was to empower the participants not only at their work place, but also to promote active citizenship among them.

Accurate minutes taking and informative report writing are vital aspects of good governance and enhance the efficiency and performance of every organization. Speech writing is an important skill for enhancing transparency and outreach. Understanding Interpersonal Relationship strengthens conflict resolution and teamwork. The trainer and course facilitator Jarii Tjeja-Tjatinidi engaged the participants in interactive sessions to promote a better understanding and application of these skills.

After three very informative and interactive days of training, the enthusiastic participants had gathered new insights and knowledge about these very practical and relevant skills. Their capabilities were strengthened and they recognized the importance of using these capabilities in their daily work schedules. All of the participants received a certificate to honour their active involvement and commitment throughout the three days training.

The Delegate of the Office of the Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force, Deputy Commissioner Ellis, as well as all participants expressed their gratitude to the HSF for organising the training and encouraged further cooperation between the two long standing partners.
