In March 2016, the Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi, in collaboration with Hanns Seidel Foundation Islamabad, organized a workshop on refugees.

The Political Science Department of the University of Peshawar in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation Islamabad organized their fourth joint international conference at the Bara Gali Summer Campus of the University of Peshawar, 12-14 June 2015, under the overall topic: “The Dynamics of Change in Pakistan-Afghanistan Region: Politics on Borderland”.

With over half of its population under the age of 26, Pakistan’s future lies with its youth. Strengthening the policy and decision makers of tomorrow is the need of the hour. Students of today will be the ones holding important positions in Politics, Bureaucracy, Academia and Civil Society tomorrow. It is them, who will be shaping both the future and thereby the face of federalism in the country. Model CCI: Debating FederalismPK intends to address those challenges in a nation-wide approach, involving both the decision makers of today and tomorrow.

The Regional Peace Institute (RPI) in collaboration with the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) organized a two-day bilateral dialogue on June 7-8 at Islamabad Club, supported by Hanns Seidel Foundation. The conference was titled “Consolidating the Gains: Exploring Avenues and Methodologies to Pursue Joint Objectives”.

Within its series of roundtables on the topic 'Security and Governance in Pakistan', HSF Islamabad in cooperation with the Department of International Relations of the National Defense University (NDU) have held their third roundtable on 'Political Economy of Governance in Pakistan' at NDU on May 29th 2015.

The Department of History, University of Peshawar, in cooperation with Hanns Seidel Foundation Islamabad organized a two-day conference on the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan and its Amendments, held on 26th and 27th May 2015 at the Bara Gali Summer Camp of University of Peshawar.

Following the first discussion on civil-military relations in a series of six roundtables under the broader topic 'Security and Governance in Pakistan', HSF Islamabad in cooperation with the Department of International Relations of the National Defense University (NDU) have organized a three hours discussion session at NDU on April 30th 2015.

The Third International Workshop on Ideas, Issues and Questions of Nation Building in Pakistan was held from March 27th to 28th. The event was organized by the DAAD Long Term Guest Professorship at National Institute of Pakistan Studies (NIPS) in collaboration with HSF. Focusing on the impact of resources on nation-building in Pakistan, it consisted of a two day workshop/ seminar.
